Adrenalin junkie in training!

Daddy thinks I'm turning into an adrenalin junkie! You've already seen me in action with the sky monkey. I also like to fly around the house and I love it when daddy bounces on the bed next to me so I roll around; it really makes me laugh. I asked him to let my try out some of his toys and you can see I am to take them out on the road!

With the extra time off this weekend, daddy got my dolphin swing prepped and ready for me. Check me out as I swing in the breeze! It was really nice out there: not too hot and the wind blowing. It was so nice that daddy decided to get out the big swing so he could swing as well; I think my swing worked better than his did.

My teeth are getting closer to coming out now. I'm drooling like crazy and you can see the gums budding out.

Happy birthday grandma!

Just thought I'd wish my grandma Doe-Doe a happy birthday! (And wishing everyone a happy Memorial Day!) Daddy got a little crazy with the vid-cam as you can tell below.

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I got a little bit sick last weekend with a fever; then, after the fever I had a rash. Nothing serious, just being a baby. Also, my teeth seem to be trying to poke out. My gums are swelling a little bit and I'm still chewing on anything I can find. When you watch the videos you'll see I'm getting more coordination. I'm now rolling like a champ; and I can almost get my legs under me so I'm getting ready to crawl before you know it. Then we'll see if mommy and daddy can keep up with me! Well, I've got important things to do like eat and sleep so I'll let you go for now.

Happy Mother's Day!

Well, as luck would have it the rain came last Sunday. Since I was still getting over a bit of a cold she didn't want me to get out in it, so we didn't go to the beach. I had my six month check-up on Friday and my growth has settled down a little bit. I weighed in at 20 lb 11 oz (9.4 kilos) and measured 27" in length although daddy checked me at about 27.5" (70 cm) when we got home.

For mother's day I decided I was going to try going potty like a big boy! Mommy tried to teach me how, but I was a little late today; she thinks I'll be able to learn pretty soon though. Then daddy took mommy to the Thai restaurant for dinner. They got a picture of me showing off my skills at sitting in a high chair. I can get a little tired on the seat so they have to put a cushion in to keep me from sliding.

Catching up to Pooh Bear!

Grandma bought me a big Pooh Bear when I was born. As you can see, I'm almost as big as he is. I bet she didn't think I'd get this size this soon! Mommy and daddy weighed me and I checked in at 21 lbs on their scale. I go to the baby doc on Friday to get the official results. Also, as you can see, I like to chew on my toy elephant.

Tomorrow we plan on going to the beach with some friends of ours if the rain stays away. It's probably still a little cool to swim, but daddy thinks the salty air will be good for my stuffy nose. Hopefully we'll have some good pix and maybe a vid or two for me to share.

Breaking the six month barrier!

I had my six month birthday on Wednesday! Mommy took a bunch of pictures and made some videos for your viewing pleasure (sorry they're a bit dark). To celebrate being a big boy I've started sleeping longer through the night even though I've had a bit of a cold and stuffy nose. I still need a lot of help getting to sleep; but once I'm down I sleep like a baby!

Sorry for the delay.

I know it's been a while since I last graced you with my presence. Daddy spent some time getting the computer fixed - it was running a little rough but seems ok now; and mommy and daddy started going to the gym in the evening after daddy's work so they didn't have time to help me post before I had to go to bed.

Last weekend we went to a "low country boil" with some people daddy works with; it's kind of like going to a barbecue. Daddy was too lazy to take my picture, but hopefully he will get some from some folks at work. He did take a picture of me lounging around in my crib before we left. Of course, everybody loved me; even the gnats!
