Driving and playing!

Mommy brought my car out of storage so I can motor around Fred Flintstone style. Right now, I'm not too good at the forward motion, reverse is more my speed. I'll keep working on it until I'm ready for Baby NASCAR! In the mean time, I'll work out at the playground at the mall like this. I think I inherited a bit of daddy's claustrophobia though... But that doesn't keep me down for long. Yep, I can confirm some claustrophobia. But at least I have no fear of climbing! Or going back down when it's time to leave.

Stair Master!

I am now a master of the stairs! And I really know how to celebrate my accomplishments! Last weekend daddy put up the swing grandma gave me so I can sleep in the living room. It works pretty well. I started my fall kindermusik classes on Wednesday; I really like the music and I have even started clapping my hands at home.

While we were in Thailand, my aunt Lon gave me styling duds she bought for me in Viet Nam. I think I look good in red; of course, I look good in everything!

Saying goodbye.

Eventually, I had to say good-bye and head back to Savannah so daddy could go to work. Daddy decided that at this age, I would be a bit too much work for mommy if she tried flying with me by herself.

We had dinner with mommy's friends one night! Of course, I had a good time; I just love it when I am the center of attention, even when I'm dead tired. Check out the twins playing peek-a-boo and games with me!

Honored by the elders.

We had a local ceremony where the elders honored my birth. Sorry we don't have the whole thing shown; daddy's been too lazy to figure out how to shrink video sizes to meet the youtube size limits. Afterwards, I celebrated with one of my older cousins.

World traveler!

After 26+ hours of traveling I think I deserved a little rest. Luckily, grandma had a nice swing in her house. I liked sleeping in it so much that she let me take it with me. I did pretty well on the flights considering how long they were. My favorite thing to do was stand up in my bassinet on the plane and try to look around the bulkhead to see what was going on; mommy says I looked just like Curious George.

Sorry it's taken so long to start posting about my trip. I was wiped out after the long flights back. Then my cold led to an ear infection with fever. Thanks to a little medicine I'm starting to feel much better.
