A visit from friends!

My friend Geneva was able to visit and bring her mommy and daddy with her! Earlier that day, we went and got a mattress for the bed. I really liked jumping on it!

When they got there, we had fun playing on the sit and spin I got for my birthday! It was so fun, we had to do it again! After that, I showed her my slick dance moves!

When it came to hugs, I think she might have been overwhelmed by my strength. She learned that to get my attention she had to play hard to get! Hopefully, they'll come back for more visits and we can have fun at the beach again this year! I think I'm ready to go in the ocean now!

17 months old!

I hit the 17 month mark! One more and I hit magic 18! Mommy and I celebrated by going to the park to play, I really like playing on the playground! The next day I went to the soft play at the mall with mommy. I can't get enough playing! I even like to play while watching TV! When they sing and dance on the TV, I like to dance along! I hope to improve my dancing skills soon, daddy said he'd teach me how to really groove (I learned my first dancing moves from grandma and they're a bit herky-jerky right now).

Lots of firsts!

I went on my first Easter egg hunt a few weeks ago! I had Grandma helped me check for eggs! Before the hunt, I had time to play on the slide with mommy (she was a little bit scared)! I decided to try my skills at climbing because I've become bored with stairs. After that, I got entranced by March Madness and college basketball. I decided to watch with my orange balloon to give me a better impression of being there. Finally, I got my first haircut! It helps my neck stay much cooler. If you look closely you can see the dining room table owned by great-great-grandfather Mathias for whom I'm named. I really like climbing and going where I'm not supposed to go! It's no fun sitting around being a good boy all the time.
